Jess Brown

Jess Brown is a creative nonfiction writer who finds comfort in writing words she cannot say to people that she loves, or used to love, and she uses her writing to work through her anxieties about life.

She is currently studying creative writing at Ball State University, and she currently holds the position of co-vice president of the Debate Team. In her work she draws primarily from her life experiences, such as her childhood in the Mormon church, coming to terms with her own identity as a feminist, and how those two things have complicated the relationships in her life.
