Caitlin Alexandra is a multimedia artist from North Yorkshire, UK. She studied for a foundation diploma at Leeds College of Art before achieving a first class degree in Sculpture and Environmental Art from Glasgow School of Art in 2014. She completed her Masters degree in Fine Art at the University of Brighton in 2017. Caitlin's work is performative, using her own body, and incorporates film, photography and elements of sculpture. Her main themes of research centre around identity, gender, psychoanalysis and mental health. Caitlin takes inspiration from both contemporary and historical sources, integrating popular culture and mythology into her work.
